More than 20 years ago, our founders, Scott and Dan Schubert, set out to address problems corporate real estate professionals encounter every day. As veteran industry professionals, Scott and Dan brought industry insight from years of experience in real estate management and accounting

What we do

As a co-founder of AMTdirect, Scott helped build the company into a market leader for enterprise real estate information and risk management software. He has extensive experience working with Fortune 500 companies, global real estate firms, accounting and technology partners in the areas of real estate and contract management.

Prior to working in the technology and commercial real estate industries, Scott provided financial and taxation consulting and public accounting services for a large, privately held, international accounting firm. He is a CPA in North Carolina and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Asheville.

As a co-founder of AMTdirect, Daniel helped grow the company by securing the trust of some of the country's leading brands. He is responsible for all sales and marketing activities and has over fifteen years of experience managing and creating technology solutions for the real estate industry. Daniel has significant experience managing many of the industry’s largest data compilation and contract abstraction projects.

Prior to working in the technology and commercial real estate industries, his work experience includes sales, application design and implementation, strategic planning, large-scale project management and consulting services for one of the nation’s largest financial banking institutions. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Marketing from the University of North Carolina at Asheville.

Kenny joined AMTdirect in 2000. As Chief Financial Officer he is responsible for directing and managing the company’s financial operations, specifically the financial and operational controls within the company, including assistance with contract negotiation and the company’s financial obligations, as well as direct oversight for the Professional Services Group.

His prior experience includes accounting and finance, including a previous role at Blue Ridge Area Authority, where he managed their $35 million operating budget.  Kenny is a CPA in North Carolina and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Asheville.

Bryan leads AMTdirect’s technology team. Prior to joining AMTdirect, Bryan was a partner at TechCXO where he provided on demand CTO consulting services to distinguished clients in Healthcare and other industries. Previously he served as the CTO at iPic Entertainment, providing the ultimate cinema and restaurant experience with 15+ locations.

At iPic, Bryan was responsible for all information technology operations, including product research and development, DevOps, and the customer experience. He works on creating a culture of learning and growth, through actively promoting individual and team capabilities. Bryan is passionate about servant leadership. Bryan holds a BS in Information Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology.

Taft has been with AMTdirect for nine years and has managed several areas of the company, including the Professional Services Group (PSG), which he managed for four years. As Chief Customer Officer he is responsible for the company’s Customer Success Program, a comprehensive strategy to engage with, monitor and ensure customers achieve success with all AMTdirect solutions.  He is also responsible for Customer Support and many of the company’s educational outreach initiatives.   

Prior to joining AMTdirect, he served over eight years in the commercial real estate industry, including roles as Site Incentives Manager and Property Manager for Lowe’s Home Improvement, where he was responsible for more than 400 stores throughout the Southeast and Midwest. He holds a degree in Public Policy Studies from Duke University.

Jeff is a seasoned sales leader with over 20 years of experience in clinical decision support and analytics software solutions, medication and supply automation systems and healthcare IT. Before joining AMTdirect, Jeff was Vice President of sales at Pharmacy OneSource, a cloud-based clinical surveillance platform.

Previously, he has held executive sales positions at CareFusion, SAS, and Cardinal Health. He holds a Business Administration degree from the University of North Carolina at Asheville, and attended the MBA program at East Carolina University.

Amber brings more than twenty years of experience developing and executing marketing strategies for business to business technology organizations.

Prior to joining AMTdirect, she served as the Director of Marketing Communications at Fonality, a business communications and collaboration services provider. Amber has responsibility for demand generation, brand awareness, public relations, sales enablement, and marketing of AMTdirect.
