Software Developer III


Develops, modifies, and enhances application software to established programming languages, standards and specifications. Codes, tests, debugs, documents, and installs both new programs/technologies, and makes changes to existing programs/technologies. Ensures efficient operation in the development environment. Contributes to the full software development life cycle. Assists and supports others in the achievement of AMTdirect’s and/or department’s goals.

CRITERIA

  • ndergraduate degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Computer Science or related field; AND
  • Four-to-six years of experience in:
    1. In Web-based software design; AND
    2. List number of years in each of the following:

      Unit Testing
      VSS
      TFS
    3. Windows Workflow Foundation (WF) exposure; AND
    4. Experience architecting, developing, and implementing software systems; AND
    5. Web-based reports using Crystal Reports or similar software; a combination of education and work experience may be considered. *Management experience a plus. *Certifications such as MCDBA, MCAD, MCSD, MCTS, or MCPD are a plus.
