Asset Management Technologies, Inc. of Charlotte, NC. Wins Contract with Highwoods Properties, Inc. to Abstract 3,000 Leases and Perform Data Imaging Services


CHARLOTTE, N.C., Feb. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Asset Management Technologies, Inc. (``AMT''), formerly Asset Management Consultants, Inc., today announced finalization of its contract with Highwoods Properties, Inc. (``Highwoods''). AMT will assist Highwoods in its efforts to increase efficiencies in its lease accounting processes by abstracting approximately 3,000 leases, and data imaging up to 4,500 lease document files.

AMT will administer the project by utilizing its lease administration and document management system, AMCProlease. AMT will electronically convert certain data fields from Highwoods' MRI accounting system to data formats that are read and manipulated by AMCProlease. The computerized re-mapping of data into AMCProLease will allow AMT to efficiently verify critical lease data, thereby ensuring a concise and accurate conversion to Highwoods' new accounting software.

AMT's Windows based application, AMCProlease, is a robust lease administration tool offering centralized lease file management, document warehousing with drill down capabilities, and complex information reporting. AMT's web-based version, AMTdirect, is currently being beta tested and scheduled for full release in March. AMTdirect, offered in an ASP environment, provides solid solutions for problems caused by decentralized operating environments, cumbersome paper-based document management, inefficient lease abstraction processes, and limited lease reporting capabilities.
