AMTdirect Concludes 10th Anniversary Year With A Number of New Client Wins


CHARLOTTE, NC -- AMTdirect, the Active Real Estate Solutions™ provider, ended the fourth quarter of its 10th year in business by announcing agreements with great new clients, including the Smithsonian, Savers Inc., Mervyns and Sur La Table.

Building momentum for 2007, AMTdirect representatives will be on hand and demonstrating their on-demand real estate information solutions at Booth No. 1767 during the National Retail Federation’s Big Show starting Sunday, Jan. 14 at the Javits Convention Center in New York City.

“These organizations span different industries, including retail, communication, environmental restoration and education,” said Daniel M. Schubert, Chief Client Officer and VP of Marketing at AMT. “What they share is the goal of achieving better operational control over their real estate portfolios with their AMTdirect solution.”

The Smithsonian Institution, the largest museum complex and research organization in the world, is using AMTdirect’s Portfolio Insight application to help manage its more than 100 locations – among them 17 museums and the National Zoo in Washington, D.C. and two New York City sites.

Treasure hunter’s paradise, Savers, Inc., with 190 locations, is the world’s largest chain of for-profit thrift stores. Savers is turning to AMTdirect to improve control over its store portfolio and reduce corporate risk.

In areas of the environment and redevelopment, Weston Solutions is among the most respected firms in the nation. Operating more than 70 locations, the company is looking to AMTdirect to help better control its diverse real estate portfolio and user base.

Other recent new client additions include Broadcom Corporation, a global leader in the production of semiconductors for communications systems; \ Mervyns, a family-oriented clothing store that offers top national brands and exclusive house brand merchandise from 189 stores in 10 states and Sur La Table, Inc., which sells gourmet cooking utensils, kitchen appliances, food, cookbooks and more through 50 stores in 20 states. Sur La Table ranks among the largest specialty cookware retailers in the U.S.
